Basically this is what happens in the lab. We conduct eveything except the experiment. Haha...=P

Joash & May Farewell

On the 26th of June, we had a farewell party for my youth leader. It was after youth service. It started at 8pm. Of course, there was so much food throughout which was awesome!!! Anyway, we had a few persentations. The highlight of it was the Epic Ultramen dance by the guys. It was so hilarious. Check it out.

The A-Team Rocks!!!

Last Thursday, my family came down to KL. My sister and I watched The A-Team and The Karate Kid. The A-Team definitely rocks!!!

Time Square With Wei Mei

Yesterday, Wei Mei and I went to Time Square. We had lunch at Wendy's. Then, it was SHOPPING!!! Ok. It was shopping for her and Borders for me. I actually bought some stuff. Presents for my parents. Only then did i head over to Borders. Then, we watched Prince of Persia.

Apparently, after almost 3 hours, she could not find her much sought after shoes. =P Wei Mei, I am repeating what you said.

"...Simin, Time Square is so huge. There are so many things here..."

Anyway, after the movie, we had dinner. It was then did we take a few pictures. We were supposed to leave around 8pm. But there was some technical error with the monorail. Here's a summary of what happened:-

1. Free ride on the monorail back.

2. Waited for more than 1/2 hour for the monorail.

3. In 15 min, the monorail came. Correct rail. Wrong direction.

4. Sardin packed monorail.

5. Monorail tilted more than usual. Probably because overload. Nobody cared when the guards blew the whistle to indicate that people should stop entering.

6. Raining throughout the journey. Got a bit wet. 1 little umbrella for 2 person.

7. Reached room almost 9.50pm

Dinner At Mamak

Last Saturday, after Youth service, we went to Mamak for dinner. I had roti cheese nan. Recommended by Anna & Chi Wing. It was nice. But the interesting part was what happened after we ate.

1. Anna could not stop playing with the iPhone. As you can see below, her fingers were dancing FURIOUSLY across the screen. It was like Kill-The-iPhone-As-Many-Times-In-30 Seconds contest. Unfortunately, Jerald was the ultimate winner.

2. The highlight was hand sanitizer. Anna & I kept using it. Suddenly, Chi Wing said:-

Chi Wing: using too much hand sanitizer may cause you to go high

Anna & me: why? (continue using while asking)

Chi Wing: because it has ethyl alcohol

Me: oh ya, it also has isopropyl alchol

Anna & me: oh, we didn't know it could cause people to go high

In the end, we continued using hand sanitizer

3. Chi Wing taught us the longest word in the dictionary is pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcaniosis. It is a lung infection due to inhaling too much volcanic ash.
